We drove up the Pacific Coast Highway on a Saturday afternoon and found the Lake Shrine Temple hidden in the hills of the Palisades.

We marinated the chicken in the mandarin orange juice (drained from the can), soy sauce and about a teaspoon of honey.
For the salad dressing, I make-shifted a dressing out of extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinaigrette, mandarin orange juice and a dash of soy sauce.

We forged the crowds of busy home-improvers at Home Depot and scoured the Garden Center for some unique flower to plant on the patio. It took some time, but we also managed to find the vegetable seeds. Jordan an I decided on growing spinach and green onions

Shortly thereafter, we hopped in the truck- followed closely by the attached trailer- and forged the I-90 to Kachess. The drive was beautiful- I must have looked like a small child with as infatuated as I was by the views.
